Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! The FHS Parent Association (PA) is planning for the upcoming academic year and is excited to support Franklin High School and our students, faculty and administration in the best way possible. To achieve this, we need your commitment to:
Stay connected this school year - FHS Announcements
The PA sends school announcements typically twice a week on behalf of FHS. The announcements contain information on upcoming school events, dates/news on academics, athletics, clubs, fine arts programs and much more. Families must register each school year to receive school and class specific announcements. New FHS families can subscribe to receive the weekly announcements via email by registering your email address at fhsparents.org. Returning FHS families also need to log-in and reactivate your email subscription to these announcements after July 1st.
Support two FHS PA major fundraising efforts
Donate to the Invest in Your Rebel Campaign and FHS Parent Association Membership Drive - 100% tax deductible:
Invest in Your Rebel - Each year the FHS leadership team, comprised of administration and department chairs, compiles a “wish list” of FHS academic needs that are not funded by the County. Funds raised through Invest in Your Rebel go directly to FHS to cover many of these items. We are asking each family commit to contributing $100 for your first student and $80 for additional students. Investing is easy: Please make your donation online at fhsparents.org or mail a check made payable to FHS Parent Association earmarked “Invest.” To learn more about this campaign and wish list items from past school years, please read the enclosed information about “investments” granted in the 2017/18 school year.
Join the FHS Parent Association - Our association works toward a common goal of enriching the quality of education at FHS. With your tax deductible donation of $45, this commitment allows us to support a number of FHS programs and events throughout the school year including academic recognition, baccalaureate reception, landscaping, fine arts, hospitality and scholarships to name a few. This membership also gives access to the online directory.
Access Membership Toolkit/Online Directory
Membership Toolkit is the online database that the PA uses to distribute all FHS weekly announcements, grade level information, and volunteering opportunities to parents in addition to access to the FHS online directory. You can also download the Membership Toolkit mobile app from your mobile device’s app store.
